Sims 4 latest news12/27/2022 You didn’t think a new world would come without ghost stories, did you? If your Sims visit the Von Haunt Estate, they’ll learn about the old couple who died within the hedge maze. Of course, being a nice club member is great and all, if you’re into that sort of thing. There are plenty of ways to create mischief, like targeting a seemingly-innocent Club (like the food-obsessed Upper Crusts), creating a new one, and setting their Club Activities to troll and torment the other. This brings us to all the mayhem you can stir up for your Sims. Break the rules, and your Sim might get kicked out of the Club. Or maybe they flat-out can’t talk to specific members of other Clubs. Your Club members might love swimming, but maybe they won’t swim with members of another specific Club. Your Club can have five Encouraged Activities, which creates a ton of possibilities, and you can take them to a deeper level by deciding who your Members will do activities with. They can Cook, Swim, Tell Jokes, and (a whole lot) more. You can encourage Club members to participate in over one hundred activities when they’re in a Club Gathering. Maybe hot-headed Sims need not apply, or ambitious Sims are perfect for your squad. You decide what sorts of people are allowed in by choosing Age Groups, Skill Levels, and Traits that your Club members are required to have. Your Club can be open to anyone and everyone, or it can be a bit more exclusive. Then pick a logo – like a fork and knife for a foodie Club – or anything that represents your exclusive crew. You could go with something generic or get crazy and think of something outrageous. It’s a huge part of how Sims can socialize, and, best of all, you control how the Clubs happen! The first thing you’ll want to do is name your Club. One of the most robust features of this pack is Clubs. We hope you’ll like this pack for many reasons, but let’s start with 10 of them. Get ready for clubs, a new world, and so much more, all coming to Xbox One today! But what about your Sims? Don’t you think they want to take their friendly hangouts to the next level? Well, you’re about to find out with The Sims 4 Get Together expansion pack. What we arm them with and the capabilities and frameworks we arm them with and where they take that I think it’s going to be a pretty significant surprise and a pretty exciting time for us as we bring these tools and platforms to market.Getting together with friends is great. They are sharing, they could create marketplaces. And it’s us being able to create a framework and that players are actually gonna create these experiences and in the end, it's doing it together, doing it collaboratively. Geoff Keighley: I imagine as The Sims becoming more of a platform for creativity – it feels like an opportunity? Laura Miele: Absolutely. The team is hard at work on the next generation of that experience. And then to do that together – I think that’s one of our biggest opportunities with The Sims is the social connection component that we need to bring to this brand and this franchise. I think 20 years later we learned a lot about how players interact, what motivates players, how players can come together co-operatively and so as you imagine as we think about the next generation of The Sims it’s SUPER important for us to have the best tools, the most flexibility and for players to really expand on their creativity, remix items and objects in the world. We had The Sims Online that came out in 2002 which was around 20 years ago. It seems like The Sims out of all your franchises is maybe best equipped to play in this world? Laura Miele: Yes, a lot of fertile ground for The Sims for sure and the idea that we will build on the tools for people to play with life and the idea for people to be able to play with life together. Is there sort of an opportunity to do more of there? I look at Roblox, Fortnite Creative and things like that. The Sims is still a vibrant franchise for EA right now. It was 20 years ago, ahead of its time, with letting people build a character, build your environment. Geoff Keighley: On another note, I talked a little about The Sims – you mentioned that which is totally a great point with Maxis related games SimCity, SimFarm, even The Sims Online.
